In 2010 Cass Spies, twisted’s founder, was searching endlessly for a healthy frozen treat that she, her husband and children could enjoy without feeling guilty. With the “better for you” section in the ice cream aisle virtually non-existent and effectively controlled by big multinationals, cass put her food science and technology university major to work and twisted was born.

WHERE OUR JOURNEY BEGINS
Our first Frozen Yoghurt and Smoothie concept store is opened. Serving up fresh frozen yoghurt, fruit smoothies, acai bowls and an exceptional topping selection. Let’s not forget about the “Take me home” freezer.
2014
A TWIST OF FATE
Twisted operates five retail locations and successfully launches into Australian school canteens.
2015
We moved into our first manufacturing facility in Alexandria, Sydney to fulfill our growing supermarket and school canteen business.
2018
Rebranded from ‘Twisted Frozen Yoghurt’ to Twisted Healthy Treats as we launched our sugar free ice cream sticks.
2020
GOING GLOBAL
Twisted healthy Treats is now a fully operated wholesale company that is ranged in 2000 supermarkets nationwide. In March 2020 we shipped our first containers of frozen yoghurt to the USA.
TODAY
Operating in our state of the art, fully automated production facility in Ingleburn, our treats are ranged in 2500 supermarkets nationwide, 85% of Aussie school canteens and we are expanding our global distribution. Our goal is to be Australia’s leading healthy treat manufacturer. We are incredibly proud to be Australia’s only female led ice cream manufacturer.
